USB has become a standard hardware interface, thanks to its easy-to-use and Plug-and-Play capability. With computing
speeds for PCs and PC peripherals increasing, it is expected that USB 2.0, with a 480Mbps data throughput, will become the standard interface.
Like the original USB spec, USB 2.0 lets you easily connect PCs and notebooks to peripherals, such as printers, monitors,
keyboards, modems, disk drives, CDs, and digital cameras, but this iteration transfers data at 480 Mbps, about 40 times as
fast as its predecessor.
